Averasboro Battlefield and Museum
Relive the Civil War Battle of Averasboro (March 15-16, 1865) as you visit the Battlefield museum, battle grounds, and Confederate cemetery. Also learn about the Smith's, the family that owned and lived on the 8,000 acre plantation and evacuated as the battle ensued, whose plantation homes still stand.

Lundy-Fetterman Museum & Exhibit Hall
Housed in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business Building. Featuring approximately 175 animals from the Burrows T. and Mabel L. Lundy Collection, the display includes a life-size brown bear, polar bear, zebra, leopard, gnu, impala, and rhinoceros, along with other species. This rotating collection changes periodically and is open year-round for viewing by the various departments and students at Campbell University as well as schools from across the region, area residents, and visitors.

J.A. Campbell Home Founded in 1811 and is the birthplace of three college presidents and the founder of Campbell University in Buies Creek. The J.A. Campbell House is ideal for a variety of functions including weddings and receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, and meetings.

Barbeque Presbyterian Church
The mother church to all early churches in this area was founded by Scottish Highlanders in 1758.

Summerville Presbyterian Church
Chartered in 1811 and built in 1845-46 and is maintained in its original architectural design without alterations. The adjoining cemetery contains the grave of a mysterious stranger found dead on the steps of the church. Since that time the doors of the church have never been locked. Located on US Hwy 421. Hammerstone Scout Museum
Go back almost 100 years to the very roots of the Scouting movement. Contains memorabilia of Scouting pioneers and heroes. Located at 2210 Leaflet Church Road, Lillington, NC 27546. (910) 814-2955.
