Lillington has been selected as a North Carolina Small Town Main Street community!! The Lillington Revitalization Group will now become the Main Street Group so there will only be one meeting per month. The Main Street meetings will be on the First Thursday Of Every Month at 6pm at the new Lillington Community Center located at 607 S. 13th Street. PurposeThe Lillington Main Street Group is a public forum setting which brings the public and private sectors together, including property owners, business owners, elected officials, residents, and any interested person, to discuss and suggest potential projects that encourage economic development and a safe, vibrant community environment for both the downtown and the community at large.
What is the role of Main Street participants?
1) To think about Lillington issues
2) Work with others in creating and developing project ideas
3) Work together to create timelines and prioritize projects
4) Show long term support for the project ideas and assist in implementation if possible

Facade Grant Program
DEADLINE TO APPLY FEBUARY 29, 2012!
The Lillington Town Board has approved the 2012 Facade Grant Program! All downtown business and property owners interested in applying for a 50% match of up to $2,000 to assist in funding improvements to the exterior of their downtown buildings including signage, canopies, brick repair, repainting, windows, and more please fill out the following application and return to Lillington Town Hall (106 W.
