Volunteers
Lillington Park welcomes community members as volunteers for special events and some day-to-day park operations. If you have community service hours to fulfill for your club or organization, or if you would just like to help make a difference in your community, call (910) 893-2864 to speak with a Lillington Parks and Recreation staff member or submit a completed contact form.
Coaches
While they are considered "volunteers" by most people, our coaches are not your average, run-of-the-mill volunteers. We hold our coaches to the highest of standards when it comes to teaching, competition, and, above all else, sportsmanship. It takes more than just a vast knowledge of a sport or the ability to work well with children to be a good coach. If you feel as though you would make a good role model for our young athletes, and you will be able to balance your work and personal life with a life here at the park, we invite you to apply for a volunteer coaching position in the Lillington Parks & Recreation Department. You may call Ti Morrill at (910) 893-2864, ext. 24 for more information, or return a completed Annual Coaching Application to the Lillington Community Center at 607 South 13th Street.
Lillington Area Booster Club
"Making a Difference in Youth Athletics"
The Lillington Area Booster Club (LABC) is dedicated to procuring support for teams and programs representing the Lillington Parks and Recreation Department. The LABC runs a concession stand at Parks and Recreation events, schedules fundraisers, and increases general awareness of park events. If you would like to become a member of the LABC or you would like to make a donation, contact them via e-mail at boosterclub@lillingtonparksandrec.com.
