1. Avondale Estates Subdivision includes 20 singles family lots and is located on Bruce Johnson Road, off of Hwy 210 N / N Main Street near the Food Lion Shopping Center at the intersection of Hwy 401/421 and Hwy 210.
2. Dry Creek Apartments will include 65 units and is located adjacent to and east of Hwy 401 / N Main Street near the intersection of Hwy 421/ 210 and Hwy 401.

3. Community Center – A new community building is being constructed on land donated by Mr. Edward Turlington. The location is adjacent to and north of West Front St., between 13th St. and 10th St. in central Lillington. The community center will be open to anyone from the public anytime during normal business hours. Citizens can engage in leisure activities such as painting and craft-making at the center. There will also be a computer lab and a multi-purpose room that community groups and boards can utilize.

4. Falls of the Cape- Property located south and adjacent to the Cape Fear River named Falls of the Cape was rezoned to Planned Unit Development. Site plan approval is not final.
5. Fairview Pointe Apartments is seeking Phase 2 approval. Phase 1 includes 50 units and a play area, picnic areas, and a resident center. Phase 2 will be located down the street and will include 32 units for senior citizens only. Amenities include a walking trail and picnic areas.

6. Emilies Crossing Subdivision has received final plat approval for 63 single family lots and has begun new home construction. The subdivision is located west of and adjacent to NC Hwy 27 W and south of and adjacent to West Old Road.

7. Springhill Subdivision has received Phase I and Phase II final plat approval for 77 single family lots. The entire subdivision will consist of 378 single family lots. New Home Construction has begun. Springhill is near Lillington – Shawtown Elementary and Downtown Lillington.
8. Vandercroft Farms Subdivision received phase one final plat approval for a 163 single family residential lot subdivision located adjacent to and east of NC Highway 210, between Field Rd. and McNeill-Hobbs Rd, southwest of Lillington. The Subdivision will include a recreational area comprised of a private pool, club house, and exercise facility. The entire subdivision will be 393 single family lots.
