| > | How can I become a member of the Lillington Volunteer Fire Department? Applications to become a volunteer can be picked up at the fire station. You must be 16 years old to be a Junior Member and 18 years old to be a full member. Members must also live within 4 miles of town limits. |
| > | Can I burn in town? Debris from land clearing can be burned in town with a permit from the Fire Chief. Leaves and grass clippings can be placed by the road for town pick-up. No trash is allowed to be burned. |

Not sure if you are a resident? If you pay your water bill at Town Hall (the two-story white house on West Front Street) then you are most likely a resident. If you pay your water bill at the Govenrment Complex off Hwy 401 (near the Court House) then you are considered a non-resident. |
| > | Do I need to pay the town insurance fee if my child already has coverage under a different insurance policy?Yes. All participants must pay the Town insurance once between August1 (of current year) -July 31 (of next year). If you pay insurance in the fall it is good for the fall, winter and spring sports. If you pay insurance in the winter then it is good for winter and spring athletics. If you pay insurance in the spring then it is good for the spring season only. |
| > | What is the cost of admission for youth athletic events? There is no cost of admission for regular season games in all youth sports. Most preseason and postseason tournaments hosted in Lillington do have a cost of admission, but this amount often varies based on the sport and league affiliation. |

| > | How do I become an instructor at Lillington Community Center?All individuals interested in instructing a class must submit an "Instructor Services Offered Application" and a "Background Check Form" to the Director of Lillington Parks & Recreation Department. The application must include type of course/courses you are wanting to instruct along with dates & times of availability. Both forms can be found on the downloads page.

Fitness room participants ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth ages 12 and under are not allowed in the fitness room due to insurance liability rules.

Both are located in Lillington, but if you call information to get the number for the water department in Lillington you will be given the number to the public works shop. We will then have to give you one of the numbers listed above. |
